Three values of Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) are retrieved over cloud- and glint-free ocean in three SEVIRI shortwave spectral bands, independently using the 3rd generation NOAA/NESDISD aerosol algorithm for AVHRR/3 (Ignatov et al. 2002)1).
