Further to previous announcements, reprocessed data for September 2004 - January 2005 have now been added to the Edition 1 data set and are available from the GGSPS. This covers the L1.5 NANRG and L2 ARG products, including the validation period in December 2004 / January 2005. Therefore, GERB-2 Edition 1 data (L1.5 NANRG and L2 ARG) are now available from February 2004 to January 2005, and from 29 October 2005 until the end of the GERB-2 Edition 1 data, 10 May 2007. Regards, Richard (On behalf of the GERB project). You are receiving this email as you are a registered user of the GERB Edition 1 data. If you no longer wish to receive information regarding the GERB data, please email gerb at imperial.ac.uk ---------- Dr Richard Bantges Deputy GERB Project Scientist Space & Atmospheric Physics Blackett Laboratory Prince Consort Road IMPERIAL COLLEGE LONDON LONDON SW7 2BW Tel: +44 (0) 20 7594 7664 (Direct) +44 (0) 20 7594 7679 (Secretary) Fax: +44 (0) 20 7594 7900 Web: http://www.imperial.ac.uk/research/spat ---------- >Dear all, >This email is to announce the release of Edition 1 LEVEL 1.5 GERB NANRG >data, and to update to as to the status of the archive for the Editon 1 >level 2 ARG GERB products. > >Edition quality NANRG data is now available from the ggsps. >http://ggsps.rl.ac.uk Please see the >associated quality summary for these >data available at: >http://ggsps.rl.ac.uk/docs/GERBED1_NANRG_QS.pdf > >These products consist of the non-averaged, non-rectified geolocated >filtered radiances from the GERB instrument in the SW and TOTAL channels. > >Access to the archive is password protected and will require registration >with the GGSPS archive. It is important to note that although data is available from February 2004, the nominal start of the Edition 1 data is 25 March 2004. Data from February 2004 to 24 March 2004 have been processed with the same software version as the Edition 1 data, but are not called Edition 1 data due to differences in the cloud detection necessary to process this period. Apologies for any confusion this may have caused.
